Bush, Obama, and Baby Doe

Bella Bond was a beautiful two year old, murdered by her mother’s boyfriend. She came to be known as Baby Doe after her remains were found in a trash bag in Boston Harbor in June.

Her mother and boyfriend are now facing charges in Bella’s death. The boyfriend for murder, the mother for being an accessory after the fact in concealing the crime.

Horrific as the crime was, it pales in comparison to the murders of thousands of American troops and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.

Those responsible are not facing charges. Nor are those who were accessories after the fact in those war crimes.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, et al, are as guilty of murder as is the guy who killed Bella Bond.

And Obama is as complicit in those crimes as is Bella’s mother in covering up her little girl’s murder.

Failing to prosecute war crimes is nothing less than being an accessory after the fact in their commission.

Obama appears to be following the tradition of giving war crimes passes to former presidents. Truman, Johnson, and Nixon were never prosecuted, and Obama would likely not want future presidents to closely inquire into his ordering the murders of civilians by drone strikes.

Author’s Notes:

• Be sure to visit Armory of the Revolution’s new commissary and bookstore: The Supply Depot

You will find recommended reading on Animal Rights, revolutionary theory, politics, economics, religion, science, and atheism. There is also a section of supplies for animal liberationists, hunt saboteurs, and social revolutionaries. This is all brand new, and we will be adding lots more merchandise in the near future!

• Feel free to comment. I encourage open discussion and welcome other opinions. I moderate comments because this blog has been attacked by hunters and right wing trolls.

I approve comments that are critical as well as those which agree with me. Comments I will not tolerate are those that are spam, threatening, disrespectful, or which promote animal abuse and cruelty.
