Today’s Thought:

I am vegan, and advocate for veganism. But just being vegan is no different than not raping women or not molesting children. It just means one is doing no harm in their personal consumption. It does not mean that you are worth a damn to the animals. Vegans who are not recruiting revolutionaries or working toward bringing down the capitalist state are aiding the animals’ enemies, and are doing much more harm than if they were eating animals. They are helping to perpetuate the Animal Holocaust.

Author’s Notes:

I am unaware of any other blog with the Armory’s mission of radicalizing the animal movement. I certainly hope I am not alone, and that there are similar sentiments being expressed by comrades unknown to me.

If you know of other blogs dedicated to animal rights and the defeat of capitalism, please comment with a link.

• Be sure to follow the Armory and share it with your Facebook friends and email contacts, as well as on Twitter, Google, and all other social media platforms. Our influence and effectiveness is dependent upon you!

• Be sure to visit Armory of the Revolution’s new commissary and bookstore: The Supply Depot

You will find recommended reading on Animal Rights, revolutionary theory, politics, economics, religion, science, and atheism. There is also a section of supplies for animal liberationists, hunt saboteurs, and social revolutionaries. This is all brand new, and we will be adding lots more merchandise in the near future!

Feel free to comment. I encourage open discussion and welcome other opinions. I moderate comments because this blog has been attacked by hunters and right wing trolls. I approve comments that are critical as well as those which agree with me. Comments that I will not tolerate are those that are spam, threatening, disrespectful, or which promote animal abuse and cruelty.

  1. Agreed! Being vegan long-term saves some animal lives, and that is a good thing. However, there is much more work to be done for wild animals, research animals, work animals. People are profiting from all of it because they can. The whole system needs to change.

  2. Completely agree, becoming a vegan just aids that person’s netter health choices, but does no good for animals who continue to savagely suffer!! I still feel the only way to stop the hate crimes against animals which includes eating them is to seek the animal advocates who hold offices on the state, local and federal levels and insist they introduce bills and laws to punish the perpetrators, close the factory farms where a lot of the abuse starts, promote healthier alternatives to meat. There are too many people who hear nothing, see nothing and do nothing, they are blind to the corruption and cruelty and we need to bring the humanitarianism back into the meaning of our species HUMANS, HUMANE, HUMANITY!! But we need supporters, and everybody is ready to rock and roll then leave one by one, lose interest!! I have always had the passion and will do what it takes to help, but like you, I am only one person and cannot do it alone!!!!
