Ever since Donald Trump’s call to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the country, the establishment and most on the political left have been excoriating Trump as a racist and a xenophobe. Most of his critics are unaware that such a ban would not be constitutionally prohibited, as foreign nationals outside the US cannot claim constitutional protections. In fact, a similar ban was announced by Jimmy Carter on all Iranians entering the US in the wake of the taking of American hostages by the Iranians in 1979.
Facts are an inconvenience during political warfare, and Hillary and the establishment have mischaracterized Trump’s positions on a number of issues. By and large they have succeeded in painting Trump as a bigot and a fascist.
While Trump has made comments that many Muslims find insulting and distasteful, the most that can be said of Trump is that he has been insensitive in his statements about Islam and Muslims.
But even a cursory examination of Hillary’s record (as opposed to her public platitudes) reveals that she has Muslim blood on her hands.
Her support of the Iraq war cost not only 5,000 American lives, it cost the lives of HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of Iraqi civilians, including women and children. The overwhelming majority of whom were Muslims. Thousand more have been killed because of her policies in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Yemen.
She has ordered the murders of civilian families by drone strikes. All Muslims.
Trump may have insulted Muslims, but Hillary has killed Muslims.
And the political establishment doesn’t care.
The establishment and the liberals they have bamboozled are more concerned with being politically correct than with condemning war crimes and murder.
Slowly, people are putting this all into perspective.
Dr Jill Stein of the Greens is widely respected among progressives and liberals. Her recent comments on Trump and Hillary follow:
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein ripped Hillary Clinton for her stance on deportation, military aggression, and ignoring climate change, saying that Donald Trump may talk about these things but Clinton actually does them.
“Trump says very scary things—deporting immigrants, massive militarism and, you know, ignoring the climate,” Stein said in an interview with Democracy Now. “Well, Hillary, unfortunately, has a track record for doing all of those things.”
“So, the terrible things that we expect from Donald Trump, we’ve actually already seen from Hillary Clinton.”
“So I’d say, don’t be a victim of this propaganda campaign, which is being waged by people who exercise selective amnesia.”
“Hillary has supported the deportations of immigrants, opposed the refugees—women and children coming from Honduras, whose refugee crisis she was very much responsible for by giving a thumbs-up to this corporate coup in Honduras that has created the violence from which those refugees are fleeing.”
“She basically said, ‘No, bar the gates, send them back.’ You know, so we see these draconian things that Donald Trump is talking about, we actually see Hillary Clinton doing.”
“And it’s not only the militarism that Trump talks about, it’s Hillary’s massive record of militarism: the rush into Libya, which was really—you know, she was the prime mover behind that campaign, which the military advisers were largely against; her approval for the war in Iraq and so on; you know, her threat to bomb Iran; and, you know, she—and her demonization of Russia and China, and the pivot against China. We are rushing towards war with Hillary Clinton, who has a track record.”
“And on climate, Hillary Clinton established an office to promote fracking around the world, while secretary of state.”
