Thought of the Day. Donald Trump. November 7, 2016

I recently asked readers to weigh in on whether or not to keep publishing our Thought of the Day. Of those voting, keeping the feature won handily.

Instead of merely posting status updates on Facebook, I am now posting each apothegm, thought, observation, and witticism, here, as a Thought Of The Day.
Status updates on Facebook disappear into the ether and cannot be relocated by readers.

Today’s Thought:

I am an activist who values life. How many lives have you saved? A dozen? Several dozen? A hundred? A few hundred? In my 58 years as an animal activist I may have saved a thousand. Trump will save a million times that! No matter what you think of him, Trump is the best thing that has happened to the animal movement ever. He will single-handedly save more animals than the movement has saved in a century.

You may not like Trump, but too damned bad! The animals he saves will.

• I am unaware of any other blog with the Armory’s mission of radicalizing the animal movement. I certainly hope I am not alone, and that there are similar sentiments being expressed by comrades unknown to me.
