Today’s Thought:

So called “sporting” weapons have only one purpose: to kill animals.

So called “assault” weapons also have only one purpose: to defend against a tyrannical government.

Armory Notes:

I am unaware of any other blog with the Armory’s mission of radicalizing the animal movement. I certainly hope I am not alone, and that there are similar sentiments being expressed by comrades unknown to me.

If you know of other blogs dedicated to animal rights and the defeat of capitalism, please comment with a link.

• Be sure to visit Armory of the Revolution’s new commissary and bookstore: The Supply Depot

You will find recommended reading on Animal Rights, revolutionary theory, politics, economics, religion, science, and atheism. There is also a section of supplies for animal liberationists, hunt saboteurs, and social revolutionaries. This is all brand new, and we will be adding lots more merchandise in the near future!

Feel free to comment. I encourage open discussion and welcome other opinions. I moderate comments because this blog has been attacked by hunters and right wing trolls. I approve comments that are critical as well as those which agree with me. Comments that I will not tolerate are those that are spam, threatening, disrespectful, or which promote animal abuse and cruelty.

  1. Assault weapons are owned by people to kill people too, not just to overthrow governments. I agree all weapons in the hands of individuals should be banned. Then add drones, bombs and the like.

  2. Who uses assault weapons for that purpose today other than Islamic militants? In the US, assault rifle owners and special ops operators speak of a time when the government becomes tyrannical, yet, as long as the Second Amendment remains, they take a warts-and-all approach to the government that upholds that right and romanticize sacrificing one’s life to defend it. They love the country that polices the world and creates unique opportunities for soldiers and operators to be impressively-equipped bad asses with tangos to kill.

Putative revolutionaries so revile the NRA and Ted Nugent that they contend that firearms use is beneath them.

Not enough Damien Manders in the world!

I have an assault rifle of the Old West, in my case, a Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle, the best option if you’re from California, where assault weapons are banned. It’s very effective if you train properly and mount an Aimpoint PRO Patrol rifle optic on it.
