A Canadian trophy-hunter, who was slammed for kissing his partner beside a lion they had just shot and killed in Africa, has now been disowned by his own daughter.
“Hard work in the hot Kalahari sun… well done. A monster lion,” Darren and Carolyn Carter of Edmonton, Alberta, had captioned their photo on Facebook, drawing flak from animal rights activists and social media users.
The couple from Edmonton, Alberta, was part of a tour organised by Legelela Safaris when they shot and killed the magnificent animal.
“The tour operator regularly shares snaps of dead animals alongside proud hunters, often grinning as they hold up their guns, on their Facebook page,” reports Daily Mail.

Armory of the Revolution 
Good for the daughter — a moral and courageous response!
But here’s a benchmark for “the revolution.” If these two murderous slime balls are still above ground and breathing air in 6 months even after it has become widely known what they did, what does that say about the prospects for a revolution or the moral fiber of would-be “revolutionaries”? I mean, that if you cannot find one person out of 7 billion planetary inhabitants willing to do what needs to be done and that justice demands, what does that say about the level of commitment of the self-proclaimed “revolutionaries” tasked with “saving” the planet? We’ll see but I’m betting that a movement notorious for all talk, all the time (anybody remember the apparently still-healthy Walter Palmer?) will once again do nothing beyond clutch its pearls and wring its limp-wristed hands.
