Almost all of the Mississippi chicken plants raided by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials on Wednesday were “willfully and unlawfully” employing people without proper work documentation authorizing them to hold jobs in the U.S., according to unsealed court documents.

Federal investigators who executed the raid on seven plants in all arrested 680 people, drawing in part on informant information — in what’s been described as the largest immigration raid in a decade. Illegal immigrants are hired by greedy factory farm and slaughterhouses to do work nobody else will do ( I wonder why)They know darn well these workers are illegal and profit from the fact that most of them have lots of kids to support, no skills, and won’t complain about the cruelty and unsanitary conditions in these hellholes. Please don’t ask me to shed a tear for these folks. My sorrow is for the animals; the humans can have my anger.
