According to the chartwriter, Greek Sonnet finished the 5th race at Finger Lakes last Wednesday without incident. In fact, the 3-year-old filly suffered a fractured RF and, says the Gaming Commission, was euthanized two days later “due to poor prognosis.” She is the 45th horse killed at NY tracks this year.
